Rebecca is sometimes awkward and quite shy around people ; especially when she's around those she has [ romantic ] feelings for .

Despite their history and the end result , Rebecca admires Wesker for his authoritative demeanor and his biochemistry work and knowledge . His ability to create viruses fascinates her, and she finds it reassuring to know that someone shares a similar intelligence level and has some of the same interests, even if they are used for opposite purposes .

She is addicted to coffee and can't live without her caramel macchiato with chocolate chips and whipped cream on top .
She also adds honey to her drink occasionally when scolded about how unhealthy her drink is .

Rebecca has a terrible sweet tooth , which doesn't help her coffee addiction ... She has a shallow bowl of assorted candies on her desk ; most of the candies help her stay awake when needed . She almost always has a candy in her mouth to suck on .

Rebecca has developed a terrible case of insomnia , which was a result of both PTSD ( nightmares ) and staying up very late at the lab [ working ] .

Rebecca sometimes has workaholic tendencies . It's situational and usually happens when there's an outbreak and she's trying to create a cure for the virus at hand .

Rebecca will never admit it but she's desperate for validation and reassurance . She's deeply afraid of feeling weak and of those around her seeing her as childish . ( A slight symptom of her PTSD . )

Yes , Rebecca does have PTSD . From the times in the Arklay Mountains and watching those she knew and cared about dying , to when Glenn Arias kidnapped her and injected the A-Virus into her . It doesn't affect her as often and as much as it used to , but she does have her moments .
( I left out Death Island on purpose because the incident at Alcatraz doesn't affect her as much as the others . )

Rebecca is farsighted ( meaning she can see clearly at a distance , but her vision is blurry up close ) . She didn't have sight issues when she was younger , but due to looking at screens often , her eyesight has gotten worse . She also HATES wearing her glasses and barely lets anyone see her wearing them . Aaron was one of the first to ever see her wearing them during their time at the Alexander Institute and before the incident with Glenn Arias . She was bullied in high school and college and was often called a ' nerd ' . Despite knowing she is one , she hates being called it and thinks that the glasses make things worse and that she'll relive the bullying if caught ...

Rebecca HATES wearing heels . It doesn't matter if they're short or high ; she will avoid wearing them at all costs . She's only worn them once or twice , and that was for her graduation . She doesn't know how to walk in them and doesn't like not feeling the ground beneath her feet . She's not opposed to learning how to walk in them , though , and it would have to be under specific circumstances . Boots , sneakers / runners , or flats are her go-to shoe-wear .
